13D's Recovery group session celebration

Peer-led sobriety fellowship

The 13D's Recovery Group is our specialized peer support and accountability fellowship where clients share struggles, build fellowship, and support each other's sobriety.

At Camp David UK, peer interaction is highly valued as a driver of permanent behavioral change. Clinical guidance is vital, but the empathy, shared vocabulary, and community support found in a peer-led group is irreplaceable.

The 13D's group sessions are structured to ensure every attendee has a voice. Participants discuss their weekly challenges, celebrate sobriety milestones, and work collectively to build relapse prevention strategies. This process breaks down isolation and builds deep, lasting peer-to-peer connection.

Why 13D's sessions are effective

  • Mutual Accountability: Peer checking helps clients maintain integrity and stay honest about triggers.
  • Lived Wisdom Sharing: Members swap practical tips on handling cravings, work stress, and social pressures without turning to substances.
  • Safe, Non-Clinical Space: A relaxed, friendly environment focused entirely on personal progress and connection.
  • Regular Scheduling: Multiple meetings throughout the week keep recovery at the forefront of residents' minds.

Who is this for?

These group sessions are for active residents, aftercare clients, and community members in recovery looking to strengthen their accountability network and enjoy sober fellowship.
